Kefaya & Elaha Soroor
Kefaya & Elaha Soroor is a groundbreaking musical collaboration blending the rich sounds of Afghan folk music with innovative jazz, soul, and electronic influences. The Sorcerers
The Sorcerers are a Leeds-based trio known for their unique blend of Ethio-jazz, psychedelic funk and film-inspired soundscapes. With albums like "In Search of the Lost City of the Monkey God" and "I Too Am a Stranger", they’ve garnered critical acclaim for their innovative approach and vibrant live performances, as well as earning praise from legendary Ethio-jazz pioneer Mulatu Astatke.


Shatner's Bassoon
Shatner’s Bassoon is an experimental ensemble known for their genre-defying sound, blending elements of the avant-garde, progressive rock, and electronic music. With an eclectic approach to composition and performance, they craft intricate and dynamic arrangements that push the boundaries of contemporary music. Their music is characterised by complex rhythms, rich improvisation, and a fearless embrace of sonic experimentation, earning them a reputation for bold, genre-blurring performances.


XOA
XOA is a London-based live electronic project led by producer Nick Tyson. Blending deep analogue grooves with elements of afrobeat, house, jazz, and broken beat, the band channels the energy of club music through the spontaneity of live performance. XOA has received acclaim from Gilles Peterson, Boiler Room, and DJ Mag, delivering immersive, high-energy sets that fuse rhythmic complexity with dancefloor impact.


Shiver
Shiver is a Leeds-based experimental trio led by guitarist and producer Chris Sharkey, featuring bassist Andy Champion and drummer Joost Hendrickx. The group explores the intersection of free-form improvisation, electronic manipulation, and genre-defying textures, creating immersive soundscapes that blend elements of ambient, trance rock, and avant-garde jazz. Their releases, such as the continuous 53-minute piece "Night School" and the collaborative album "Shiver Meets Matthew Bourne Volume 1," showcase their commitment to spontaneous, exploratory music-making. Shiver's work has been praised for its innovative approach and has been described as "a compelling kaleidoscope of mind-warping collective improv" by Jazzwise.
